Challenge

Growth team sought to improve the advertising-to-sales ratio for landing page templates used in PPC keyword campaigns.

Research

User data was gathered via a survey. We asked site visitors an open-ended question, “What is your reason for not creating a membership today?” After aggregating the responses, “I don’t know what I am getting” was identified as an actionable response.

Solution

Role

Web designer, interpreting survey data

Module promoting practice test feature
Challenge

Update modules promoting the practice exam feature of the the test-prep products to increase conversion and engagement.

Research

User interviews and surveys indicated that users preparing for professional exams desire practice exams and practice problems to gain confidence and readiness for the actual exam.

BI (business intelligence) indicated that users who had engaged in practice exams were more likely to submit higher NPS scores when terminating their membership.

Solution

Low engagement with the module promoting the practice exam on the course page suggested the module should be revised since it was the primary promotion for the feature.

The module was A/B tested with both logged-in and logged-out users, resulting in a 20% increase in conversion.

Additional design samples
Challenge

This is a collection of design samples created prior to my role at Study.com LLC.

With each project, the primary challenge was to identify the different user personas of each client, rapidly prototype solutions and gather feedback; then, create final visual designs.

For each of these designs, I also completed the front end UI implementation. For the print assests, I prepared the files for plate creation and press-checked the printing.
